I work with the children's ministry at my church and this weekend we had our 5th and 6th grade girls sleepover. Wednesday I made a gazillion gingerbread house pieces... from scratch. Maybe that wasn't the best idea considering we don't have a working oven... the door fell off and the people are supposed to come replace it. My dear friend let me come over and borrow her oven for 3 hours! Thanks again Leesa!
The girls arrived last night and we proceeded to *try* to make gingerbread houses. It was so moist in San Clemente that the gingerbread was bending and the frosting wouldn't stick too well. So sad... The girls still had tons of fun and their ginger bread houses came out really well considering the circumstances! My dear friend Mandy did this one she was so creative! Loved her roof!
Some of the finished houses and then here was another"finished house" I think she had more fun recking it than building it!
